With the move to a new logistics centre, the company underlines its commitment in Poland and expects further growth. From the Silesian Sosnowiec, 14 daily routes throughout Europe are served.

Sosnowiec. Dachser is further expanding its involvement in Poland. The company has now opened a new class A warehouse in the “Silesian Logistics Centre” in Sosnowiec. At 8,500 square meters, it has an area 80% larger than the previous location of the company from Kempten in Allgäu region, also located in Sosnowiec.

Almost the entire space in Sosnowiec will be reserved for cross-docking and contract logistics. Paweł Parcz, Head of the Dachser department in Sosnowiec, explained the expansion will help with a significant increase in the number of orders. In addition, the market continues to develop very dynamically, which also promises a positive development for the future.

The new logistics centre is located in the immediate vicinity of the intersection of the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway. Sosnowiec operates 14 daily scheduled routes to Dachser representations throughout Europe and then distributes them from there. It is already the eighth location of Dachser in Poland. The others are located in Stryków, Poznań, Szczecin, Wrocław, Gdańsk and two in Warsaw – one of them is Dachser Air & Sea Logistics. (Mk)
